Terms and conditions
1. Seller and scope
The seller is Tube Dubes (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2025/918325/07, at Langhams Lifestyle Estate, 1 Tamchele Avenue, Beverley, Sandton, South Africa. Contact: devon@tubedubes.co.za. Our website is www.tubedubes.co.za. Registered in South Africa. Director: Devon Trent Peach. These terms govern purchases from this store. South African law applies; mandatory consumer rights take precedence over these terms.
2. Products and quotations
Product details, prices, availability and order limits are shown on each product page or in your quotation. Check suitability before ordering.
Stocked packaging with online unit pricing is sold by the unit. Minimum quantities and quantity discounts apply separately to each exact product option. The qualifying price applies to every unit of that option. Request a quote for quantities above the online maximum or where price or availability needs confirmation.
Pre-orders, including the Spiral range, require a quote. The minimum is 1 000 units per exact size, container colour and cap option; different options cannot be combined to meet the minimum. Estimated delivery is 8–12 weeks after payment.
Images and colour previews are illustrative. The agreed specifications and approved artwork govern customised orders.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in South African rand. No VAT is currently charged. Prices and delivery charges are shown before payment. Check your cart before ordering.
Pay using the options offered at checkout:
- Card or instant EFT: processed by Yoco. We do not see or store your card details. Your order is accepted when Yoco confirms payment.
- EFT bank transfer: use your order number as the payment reference. Your order is accepted and processing begins when funds reflect in our bank account. Banking details are provided at checkout, on your order page and in your invoice.
- Cash on collection: pay in full when collecting a tube-only order. No minimum order value applies.
- Cash on delivery: pay the courier in full on delivery. Available in Johannesburg and Pretoria for orders of 5 000 tubes or more, or at least R 5 000 of other packaging. Cash orders are accepted when we confirm them by email.
An automated order receipt is not confirmation of dispatch. If we cannot fulfil your order or find an error, we will contact you to agree a correction or cancellation and refund.
4. Delivery and collection
For delivery rates, timeframes and collection arrangements, see our Shipping & pickup page. Your delivery charge is shown at checkout or in your quotation.
Collection is available for tube-only orders. Wait for our ready-for-collection confirmation and bring your order number. Non-tube and mixed orders are delivery only.
Provide accurate delivery details and contact us promptly about changes.
5. Accounts
You may create an account to view orders and check out faster. Keep your password confidential and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend an account that is used abusively or unlawfully.
6. Artwork and custom colours
Use artwork you own or have permission to use, and follow the artwork specifications supplied for your order. We use your artwork to prepare and fulfil your order.
Approve the final production proof by WhatsApp or email, identifying its filename or version. Check spelling, size, layout and colour references before approving. Approval applies only to that proof; revised proofs require fresh approval before production.
Product mock-ups are illustrative, and screen colours cannot guarantee an exact printed match. Any material change after approval requires an agreed revised quote and timeline.
7. Cancellations, returns and defects
Cancellations
Customised orders: once production has started, change-of-mind cancellations are not accepted. This does not limit any statutory right to cancel, return goods or obtain a remedy, including for defective or incorrectly supplied goods or failure to deliver as agreed.
Where legally permitted, our cancellation fee is 20% of the cancelled goods value, excluding delivery charges. The fee will be reduced or waived where required by law, including where 20% would exceed a reasonable cancellation charge. We consider the notice given, work completed, costs incurred and the ability to resell the goods, and explain the charge before deducting it. No cancellation fee applies to a statutory penalty-free cooling-off cancellation or a return for defective or incorrectly supplied goods. No fee applies where a statutory exemption prohibits it, including qualifying death or hospitalisation cases under section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act cooling-off right applies, qualifying online purchases may be cancelled within seven days of receipt, without penalty other than the direct return cost. The applicable refund must be made within 30 days of cancellation. Statutory exclusions may apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised goods; customisation does not remove rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied goods.
Changes to customised work, and cancellations before production starts, are assessed against work already completed, the agreed specification and applicable law.
Damaged, defective or incorrect goods
Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, its quality guarantees and remedies remain available. Please report damaged, defective or incorrect goods by WhatsApp or email within 5 days of delivery, with your order number and photographs where possible. This reporting request does not limit your statutory rights or time periods. We will arrange the appropriate assessment, return, repair, replacement or refund required by law.
Return arrangements and costs
Contact us by WhatsApp or email devon@tubedubes.co.za with your order number before sending goods back, so we can confirm the correct return address or arrange collection. Where the return is your responsibility and the law permits, you pay the return cost: we can quote for a courier, or you can arrange the return yourself. If Tube Dubes is responsible, including defective or incorrectly supplied goods, we cover the return or collection cost. We also cover costs where required by law. These arrangements do not limit statutory cancellation, return or remedy rights. Nothing here imposes store credit instead of a refund where the law requires a refund.
8. Privacy and complaints
Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy. Start a complaint through the contacts on our contact page, quoting your order reference. Nothing prevents approaching a competent regulator, ombud or court.
9. Changes
The version agreed when an order is placed applies to that order. Updates will be dated and will not retrospectively remove existing rights.
